Its been a busy week (again) so I have simply not had much time to post anything here.
We had tickets to see our very own local, Jeremy Loops, performing at a Kirstenboch Summer Sunset Concert. Check out the line up here. I make sure to get tickets to one or two of these events each summer. Most of the performers are South African and quite few are from Cape Town. We even have some that are from my hometown. It doesn't get more local than this.
You pack a picnic, some drinks and a picnic blanket and off you go. Everyone finds their spot on the lawn and just chills. It starts at 5.30pm and runs until about 7.30pm, but the gates open quite a bit before, so you can get a good spot if you're early. We always have a good time at these concerts and I think it's the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon/evening. I didn't get a lot of photos but check out this video clip from Facebook.
